September 28-29, 2011
The International Conference on "Achievements and Challenges to Enforcement System" was held on September 28-29, 2011 in Batumi, Georgia. The Event brought together an outstanding group of policy makers and experts from various countries involved in the enforcement field. The conference discussed broad strategic issues, that will provide a venue to better coordinate approaches to enforcement system development and to link them to countries economic development strategies.
In this endeavor, the Conference didn't limit itself by professional enforcement experts. The representatives of the private financial institutions and other major stakeholders as well as international organizations took part in the Seminar to broaden our views and bring an unbiased influx from outside, also to exchange information about the effective ways to solve the ongoing problems.
The Conference dealt with three major themes: (a) Current Challenges to Enforcement system - Business oriented services and protection of balance of legal rights in society (b) Cooperation with Stakeholders and Media Representatives - Increased Public Awareness, Improved communication, Preventive Measures, and Improved Efficency of Enforcement System (c) IT Solutions and Technological Means for Streamlined and Effective Enforcement Proceedings.
We believe that the Conference will be the best platform for discussions on the subject of enforcement to seek for reflections, similarities and differences, as well as to share the experience gained in foreign countries, also to possibly find the common denominators to problems, learn the lessons and possibly find effective solutions.
