The National Bureau of Enforcement has completed the process of authorizing insolvency practitioners. There are currently 23 insolvency practitioners in Georgia. The process of selecting insolvency practitioners was carried out by the National Bureau of Enforcement. A special commission, in accordance with the criteria established by law, examined the skills of candidates for insolvency to enter the profession of practitioner.
According to Erekle Ghvinianidze, Chairman of the National Bureau of Enforcement, the selected insolvency practitioners have the appropriate skills and experience to establish a high standard in the profession. "The newly selected insolvency practitioners will be able to deserve high public trust and, consequently, the reform of insolvency proceedings will continue successfully," said Erekle Ghvinianidze.
On the recommendation of the Commission, the National Bureau of Enforcement granted authorization to 18 candidates. At the same time, 5 persons were already registered in the Unified Register of Insolvency Practitioners.
