Representatives of the Estonian Chamber of Executives got acquainted with the specifics of the Georgian enforcement system and the services of the National Bureau of Enforcement.
The members of the delegation received information regarding the Georgian enforcement system, the planning procedures and stages, the Bureau's electronic and non-enforcement services. They were particularly interested in electronic proceedings and auction. Discussions focused on the specifics of the assessment service and insolvency proceedings and the planned reforms.
National Bureau of Enforcement's social policy and approach to debtors was a special news for Estonian colleagues, which set a record for voluntary settlement of cases between the parties. By 2019, Statistics of cases of reconciliation and voluntary completion in the category of dismantling and eviction cases exceeded 90 percent. The members of the delegation received information on the reforms implemented by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia in order to improve the legal and structural order in the field of enforcement and enforcement mechanism. In particular, the conversation focused on the reorganization of the enforcement system and the improvement of enforcement legislation, which will move Georgia to a new enforcement model and bring it closer to European standards.
Within the framework of the visit, the Estonian delegation will hold meetings with the territorial enforcement bureaus and private executives. Guests will also be introduced to the Georgian judicial system.
