The lecture-seminar on financial liabilities, expected risks and enforcement procedures was held by the National Bureau of Enforcement for students of Kant's Academy.
Within the framework of the project of Preventive Communication, the talk around loan problems was held with pupils of final classes.
14-17 year old adolescents received detailed information from the National Bureau of Enforcement about debt, financial liabilities and administrative penalties. On the liabilities and the rights taken under the suretyship, in case of concluding mortgage contract; On the protection against unwanted debt and fines of administrative penalties;
The aim of the project is, in specific age groups of adolescents, who will get adults status soon and will be able to undertake financial liabilities, to carry out preventive communication, in order that young people, on the one hand be informed on their own rights and liabilities, as well as avoid additional costs, save time and energy.
The presentation was conducted by the employees of National Bureau of Enforcement: Khatuna Gazdeliani and David Davituliani. After completion of the presentation, pupils were awarded certificates and information brochures. The preventive communication project was created by the National Bureau of Enforcement with the support of Swedish International Development Agency and since then it has been conducting it in schools of Tbilisi and Regions of Georgia for several years. In the framework of the project, the students of final classes are informed in order that young adolescents to measure and realize possible risks, before they decide to take the debt and financial liabilities. Such meetings are held regularly with schoolchildren by executors. After almost every meeting, the children say that a large portion of the information they received was previously unknown and that they will be more careful about taking financial liabilities.
