Public Information Release

• Public information is open and accessible to anyone, unlike the State, commercial and classified data.
• Public information is released upon the presentation of a written application.
• Public information is released immediately or within 10 days in cases stipulated by law.
• A citizen has the right to choose the form of access to public information as well as to get familiarized with original data.

A person requesting public information has to pay the following fees stipulated in the Georgian law on Fees on Copies of Public Information:

- Copy-One Page-0.05 GEL

- Printing-One Page-0.10 GEL

- Compact Disk Recording- One Disk-2.65 GEL (charge-free in case a disk is provided by a customer)
