In January 2011 number of enforcement cases of the territorial bureaus of the National Bureau of Enforcement reached 73,308 assignments. Out of them 6,257 assignments were received, 2,634 were enforced and 2,006 were completed, thus the total number of completed cases reached 4,640.
National Bureau of Enforcement conducted internal competition of the intellectual game "What? Where? When?" Competition had two stages. The initial one included 14 teams consisting of Bureau employees, out of which 5 teams made it to the second and final stage. The winning team received a symbolic challenge prize of the National Bureau of Enforcement.
On February 7, 2011 National Bureau of Enforcement with the assistance of the Training Center of Justice started trainings for candidate employees for maintenance of tax liabilities. Trainings will be conducted to those short-listed candidates who have passed two stages for being appointed to the mentioned position. 58 selected candidates out of 700 will participate in two-week trainings.
In the frameworks of the partner project financed by the Swedish International Development Agency, National Bureau of Enforcement is hosting experts of the Swedish Enforcement Agency.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Bureau of Enforcement and the Service Agency of the Ministry of Finance. According to the Memorandum, auctions announced by the National Bureau of Enforcement together with the Service Agency will be placed and conducted in electronic format on the webpage www.eauction.ge Memorandum will be signed by the Chairman of the National Bureau of Enforcement - Nika Melia, and Head of the Service Agency of the Ministry of Finance - Grirol Baiburt.
NBE staff, representatives of partner organizations and private enforcement officers were delivered training in e-auctioning. Training was conducted in several stages in all territorial bureaus of the National Bureau of Enforcement Georgia-wide. As a result of the training, Bureau staff familiarized with the rules of conducting and participating in an e-auction.
National Bureau of Enforcement applied electronic system of auctions. Starting from today those wishing to participate in the auction can purchase an item electronically on the entire territory of Georgia, without leaving the house and office. To participate in the electronic auction it is obligatory to register at www.eauction.ge. Both private persons and legal entities can register at the webpage. Registration is free of charge. After the registration user gets the possibility to receive free debit card which will be used for the simplest settlement of accounts. Card can be received through completion of an application form on www.eauction.ge.
