National Bureau of Enforcement has a new Chairman from today. Mikheil Sarjveladze will be chairing the Bureau. Today, the Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani has introduced the new Head of the Bureau to the media and the society. Mikheil Sarjveladze is a lawyer. He started his career as an advocate working for ‘Kordzadze & Svanidze Consulting'.

The EU funded project "Better Enforcement System Through Twinning-BESTT" held the 5th Steering Committee Meeting on October 11, 2012 at the National Bureau of Enforcement of Georgia (NBE). On 23-29 September 2012, the group of employees from NBE was in the capital of Portugal- Lisbon on a business trip. A workshop on the topic - "Tax Debt Management and Electronic Systems" was funded and organized by the Swedish Development Agency (SIDA) in order to introduce the Portuguese methods to the NBE Staff and observe them directly into practice.
