Case management in NBE is conducted in compliance with the Decree #124 issued by the Minister of Justice of Georgia on 15 September 2011. Since 16 September 2011 certain adjustments have made.
NBE Chairman has held a meeting with students studying Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Nika Melia made a presentation about the Bureau operations, conducted reforms and plans for the future. He also spoke about the Bureau relations with higher educational institutions and informed students about the rules required for undergoing internship and practical courses in the Bureau.
International Seminar "Enforcement System - Achievements and Challenges" organized by National Bureau of Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia started on 28 September, at Sheraton Batumi Hotel. The Minister of Justice - Zurab Adeishvili, Ramon Regada - Head of Operations Department of the Delegation of the EU to Georgia, Deputy Minister of Justice - George Vashadze, Bernar Menu - Vice-President of the International Association of Judical Officers and the NBE Chairman Nika Melia welcomed the participants.
Number of cases to be enforced by territorial bureaus of NBE totaled 79422 in August. Herewith, 6 273 856.60 GEL was transferred to state budget by the enforcement bureaus. 3340 cases were enforced during the month, 1294 cases were accomplished. 4634 cases were accomplished overall. Whereas, only 3183 cases were enforced in July.
4434 cases were accomplished by NBE territorial offices in July 2011. Herewith, 6 273 856.60 GEL was transferred to state budget by the enforcement bureaus. 76 487 836.62 GEL has been transferred to state budget for the past 7 months in 2011, that is much more than the funds of the similar months of past years.
One-week trainings are being conducted for the NBE staff in the Training Center of Justice in connection with the amendments to Georgian legislation. The trainings have been attended by the NBE Deputy Chairman Erekle Ghvinianidze and the Head of the Training Center of Justice Nino Beruashvili today.
Amendments made in "Law on Enforcement Proceedings of Georgia" have taken effect since 1 July of the current year. According to the recent amendments, the rule of conducting an E-auction has changed. Therewith, the NBE has been granted new functions.
Dynamics of the NBE transferred funds to state budget has drastically increased.Transferred funds of June 2011 are more than the transfers made during the same periods of past years. Herewith, transfers made in the first half of 2011 exceed the figures of the analogous periods in the past.
